We recently bought again the Keventer Metro Nolen Gur Party Pack Ice Cream (900ml x 2) and while the flavour lived up to expectations, with the rich, nostalgic taste of nolen gur offering a beautifully creamy and authentic experience, the packaging left much to be desired. The ice cream itself was smooth and indulgent, striking the right balance between sweetness and the signature smoky undertone of date palm jaggery. It’s clear that the formulation has been thoughtfully developed for those who enjoy traditional Bengali flavours with a modern twist.
However, considering the price point and the “party pack” branding, the packaging was surprisingly 'substandard.' The paper container felt flimsy, lacked insulation and did not seem sturdy enough to preserve the ice cream's consistency during transit or storage. In fact, one of the packs had a slightly loosened lid which risked contamination or freezer burn. For a premium dessert item, especially from a reputed brand like Keventer, stronger, more attractive, and tamper-proof packaging would greatly enhance the overall product experience. Please look into this, Keventer!
